Tahoe is a popular place in August and lodging books up quickly. We recommend you book something as soon as possible. Options for lodging include local hotels and home rentals. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions; we know the area very well and can help you find the right place to sleep.
HOTELS. We have reserved blocks of rooms at several hotels in the Truckee area. Say you're with the Roster/Arena wedding:

- Holiday Inn, Express (not the prettiest, but closest hotel to the reception) http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/ $166.95 King $194.95 2 Queens
- Best Western http://www.bestwesterncalifornia.com/hotels/best-western-truckee-tahoe-inn/ $139
- The Truckee Hotel http://www.truckeehotel.com/ (apparently famous people stay here...but there might not be a/c in the rooms)
- River Street Inn http://www.riverstreetinntruckee.com/

CABIN RENTALS: The following are links to home rentals in the Tahoe Donner area. Many of these homes are large and can accomadate a number of people, so a $300+ a night pricetag split by 8 people is a great deal! If you are a smaller group interested in renting a cabin and would like to find cabin buddies, give a shout and we'll connect you with people.
Here are homes in Tahoe Donner, where the wedding will take place. Most homes appear to be around the $200-$400 a night range. You can also rent weekly.

Aside from Tahoe Donner/Truckee, there are other beautiful areas in Tahoe to stay. If you find a place but are unsure, feel free to run it by us first.
Transportation from the airport: http://www.northlaketahoeexpress.com/ , (866) 216-5222. There are also cabs and other shuttles. If you plan on staying for more than the weekend, we'd recommend renting a car.
